Vanessa Raw: Opening

Georgina opens with Vanessa Raw’s first solo exhibition in Mexico City whose paintings set the tone for a programme that is symbolically layered, emotionally vulnerable and fiercely dreamlike. Raw’s paintings depict intimate female figures within lush and surreal landscapes set the tone for a booth concerned with the transformation of the body, memory embedded in landscape and the understanding of feminine experience.
